While I usually reserve my favorite prints for tops and dresses, lately I have become completely enamored with chic, straight leg pants emblazoned with pretty florals. 

This look was all over the Spring 2012 runways. As well as many of the bloggers and fashion editors that were in New York for fashion week.

On the runways, floral pants were either paired with neutral tops or head-to-toe prints. Either way works! Check out some great options below

Cool Combo: Orange & Black

Because I have no intention of resembling a jack-o-lantern, I’ve always tended to avoid wearing orange and black together. Something about this combination scared me away. However, after stumbling across these street-style photos and realizing how chic this pairing can be, I decided to reconsider.

Upon further investigation, I saw that many of my favorite designers incorporated the orange and black combo in their Fall 2011 collections.

For those of you who, like me, don’t consider orange to be the most flattering of colors, I suggest trying the look with orange pants, skirts, or accessories. I have included lots of great options in the collage below. Enjoy!
